How do I control Callie's time suggestions?
By default, Callie suggests a focused list of times instead of showing your entire calendar. Learn how to control what Callie suggests.
Default time suggestions
Callie typically suggests:
- Up to 3 days of availability
- Up to 5 time slots per day
- A link to view more options
The exact number depends on:
- Your actual availability
- Calendar conflicts or busy blocks
- Time zone considerations
- What was requested in the email
Can I control how many times Callie suggests?
Callie doesn't have a setting to customize the exact number of suggestions. Instead, you can influence Callie's suggestions by specifying details in your email.
How to request fewer time options
Tell Callie your preferences. Examples:
By specific day or date:
- "Please show times Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning"
- "Let's schedule for next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday"
- "Can we find something in the first two weeks of October?"
By time of day:
- "I prefer morning meetings"
- "Afternoons work better for me"
- "Early morning works best (before 10am)"
By specific time window:
- "Please find 30 minutes Wednesday between 1 and 3 p.m."
- "Tuesday morning between 9 and 11 would work"
By multiple constraints:
- "Please show times Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning between 2 and 4pm"
- "Can you find a slot Tuesday-Thursday, preferably in the morning?"
What if I want to see more time options?
Your recipient can select the "see more times" link in Callie's response to view your full Calendly booking page.
What Callie won't do
Callie respects your actual calendar availability. It will not:
- Hide available time slots
- Suggest times you're not actually free
- Create fake busy blocks
- Appear busier or less busy than your calendar shows
